Dark Convergence exploit or bug or what?

Hey ladies and gents,

I'm a casual PvP'er so maybe there's already and answer or counter to this that I'm unaware of. Last night was my first night back doing pvp for any length. I was on my magblade healer/support and was standing at the top few steps of the inner, next to the horse shoe. While my allies were pouring oils and such, I was spamming heals and buffs on them, while being out of mind and sight from enemy below trying to siege down the inner door. Suddenly I was heaved upward, and then the DC proc happened and I was pulled toward the horse shoe, all the way past the lip, where I was then sent falling to my death on the porch. I figured it was a one-off wonky thing that happened and thought nothing of it, until it happened multiple times. My death recaps would say the same thing each time: Volcanic Rune + Dark Convergence + Fall Damage. I experimented by placing myself at different areas away from the inner lip and it would still happen.

So I guess my question is, is there an exploit that players are using where the knockup from Volcanic Rune allows the pull from DC to have greater pull? Is there a bug with the Volcanic Rune skill or the DC set or both? Or is everything working as intended? The only counter I found to it was using roll dodge in the direction I came from when being pulled, but even then it would land me on the outer part of the inner lip above the inner porch, and I would get six million ranged attacks blasting me and I'd die anyway lol.

Btw, this was on PC/NA in the Gray Host campaign. It only happened when fighting a very organized 3am AD ball-zerg. When I fought EP the Dark Convergence would sometimes proc on the lip but it never had extra pull range on it.

The VR skill has a base range of 28m add the reach passive and propelling shield and it can be easily thrown onto a keep platform. It "sticks"to the edge so when DC procs you are pulled to the edge and fall.

The pull range of DC seems to be variable as many have reported being pulled from far outside the animation. Not sure what the "official" pull range is.

Yeah, I've seen it pull people off walls/roofs and heard reports of it pulling people up as well. I doubt this is part of its intended function as other pull skills do not share this functionality because it is not in line with regular Cyrodiil siege mechanics. I hope it will get fixed.

I have no idea if players are doing things to increase the pull range, but I've so far seen some unreliable pull ranges during peak hours when the server was laggy, so it might be a result of that.

The first time I was pulled off of a keep wall (by Dark Convergence) in Cyrodiil PvP I thought it was funny. But as it kept happening, I admit I got angry. (Heck: There are now ball-zergs wearing Dark Convergence, even in the under-level-50 Cyrodiil campaign!) Did the designers (intentionally) intend to introduce a means of ruining counter-siege? That's wacko.

Yes, the proc can even stick side-ways on a high ledge, and pull you up/down: for eg, you can proc in on the top wall of a keep from the outer wall, and even if it lands sideways on the wall (and not all the way to the actual top floor), it will still pull people and knock them down.

One buggy thing with it I noticed is that in some busy fights, the aoe will not show up around the blue orb. I saw it happen a few times.
