    Why would u swim for half hour, having done about 1 km, rather than riding a horse for 5 minutes or less and have traveled over 5 km?

    Personally I prefer the slaughterfish over an 'invisible' collision with the magical 'you cannot go this way' words appearing mid air.

    Nah, being eaten by slaughterfish is better.

    Yeah, and some of those frustrate the living daylights out of me.

    Like, they put these totally 'climbable' looking rocks as bait then plonk a collision there so you still have to go the long way around.

    When I played some Witcher or AC I literally swim across the sea to reach new area.

    Why? Because it feels free! Not bound by stories or quests. Want to visit somewhere new? Just swim across the widest sea or climb tallest mountains inch by inch and jump over cliff.

    Having an open world where you have to do X to be able to reach Y doesn't make any sense.

    I love them in Cyrodiil, they are my best friend there sometimes. But I was pretty offended the time that I was actually standing on land (maybe not DRY land, but on land!) and they got me right up on the beach. So rude.
