No Proc is not better, it’s a statement that there’s something wrong with the game
First off, this isn’t a statement that I think no proc is bad - I prefer it to the current meta of proc/CP enabled cyrodiil. We’ve seen countless iterations of cyrodiil at this point and the fact that we now have a regressive trend where people are favoring a move backwards in ESO combat means that our moves forwards have had a negative impact on the game.
We’ve moved from metas where engine guardian/blood spawn were the most present proc options through multiple proc metas. We’ve introduced mythic sets and numerous arena/monster sets. We’ve had constant revisions and homogenization of our base game classes and additions of multiple (full disclosure, I play those) overtuned classes. We’ve moved towards a homogenization and lack of diversity with weapon trees. And for what? Is the game better now?
ZOS lacks a unified vision of PvP combat and it seems reasonable to point out these deficiencies. I started playing probably 6-7 years ago and I miss the days where the player base’s biggest complaint was just performance and AOE caps.
