Quit around December 2020 - What's Changed?

As the title suggests, I quit around december last year.

This game has been scratching at the back of my mind, nostalgia, the will to play again but every time I play, I burn out, (Probably because I dont have blackwood so contents lacking because I have no where to go)

I was just wondering what's the state of game like, has stuff improved? I main warden, so if anyone can let me know if there's been any class changes that would be cool

Minimal class, performance changes. Some new op sets in both pve and pvp, addition of companions and endeavors (daily tasks to get stuff from crates). That’s about it.

Warden has been nerfed a bit but is still really good. Have you done all single player content in game? There is an absolute ton, and it is really well done. I mainly pvp, but questing in the game is really fun too in my books.

The graphics engine has changed. I got new options like multi-threaded rendering, screen space global illumination, new depth of field settings and planar reflection.

From December? Biggest change is cp 2.0.

My personal verdict on the new cp system is that it is a poorly implemented, yet great idea.

They need to come out with a cp 2.5 system on the quick.

This is so on point.

The only thing that will change in ESO mostly is what new OP set is up for 3 months. The ever growing inflation of prices is obvious in any MMO.

Hrothgar set. If you have 40k/40k resistances. You will be hit by a 20k proc from it.

If you are within 8 meters of somebody who has those stats, you will be hit by a 20k proc from it.

Dark Convergence: Annoyingly pulls you around similar to some warden skill. I think if they put something like extended ritual (correct me if I am wrong) if you are in that circle you are going to be dark converged.

The max CP level is now 3600. Your power level is roughly the same, so at 600 you have the same power as you had before at 600. The power ceiling is at around 1250 after that you only unlock more options for quick respeccing on the fly so you don't need to spend 3000 gold every time you want to change your CP.

This and what CPs are available and how they work is the biggest change. Companions do not matter in the grand scheme of things and PvP has entered a tank meta focused on resistance stacking with pariah, but now there are legit counters to it (and everyone around them) as well as anti-group sets, which still need to be ironed out a lot. Malacaths and Pale Order have been changed quite a bit.

Also hybrid and frost dps are now a lot more viable and frost tanking has become better as well. Medium armor doesn't provide crit chance anymore, but crit damage instead, so stamina dps has to run the Thief mundus. Light armor does provide physical pen and weapon crit, so running one or two pieces of light on stam dps can be good if your build needs it and you can afford the sustain loss.

As for fashion, there is new bikini armor and miniskirts.

That's pretty much everything.
