Just a question:
I usually play on the EU server and have unlocked/bought a lot of areas etc through purchase, I'm just wondering if I will still have access to all this stuff on the US server if I start a character there on the same account?

All crown purchases are server bound.

You'll have access to anything you bought through the ZOS store, but nothing you bought with crowns. If you have the Psijic Villa and horse, and the Antiquarian Gallery, those will also be available on NA.

An in-game purchase is only on that one server. Items obtained from outside of the game, such a purchasing a chapter for cash, is on both servers.

Any Crown Crates you got from watching ESO streams on Twitch will also show up on the other server, so there's that at least! But Crown Crates you purchased with Crowns will not carry over.

Thanks. Huh, I guess this explains why I'm not seeing all the stuff from the EU server then. Sucks if everything is supposed to unlock for the entire account - esp. since the stuff bought in the Crown store was technically paid for with real money since you have to buy the crowns in order to use them - crafty. Oh well, I'm not buying all that stuff again, so I guess I won't have access to everything on the US server.
I take it this also means that if I reactivated my ESO+ sub, that wouldn't apply on the US server either?

Nope, ESO+ applies to both servers, because you pay for it outside the game.

ZOS basically did whatever was easiest for them in each situation. If you buy something within the game it only applies to that server, so they don't have to send the data to the other data center as well. If you buy something outside the game it applies to both so they don't have to add a step to confirm which server you want it to apply to.
