Now they appear when you complete a requirement but disappear in the inventory. Why even have them.

My partner pointed out Sunday that he noticed he doesn't get any motifs or style pages out of Glorious Year One Coffers he gets in Wrothgar, but does from Imperial City ones. I hadn't got any pages or motifs in days because I was doing Wrothgar before IC (and I always open the gold coffer first), so I got my coffer from Imperial City. When I opened it, sure enough, I finally got an Old Orsinium style page. Same thing today...went to Imperial City first for my coffer, got a motif page. Wish this had been noticed earlier because I hardly have any style pages or motifs due to getting my coffers in Wrothgar this whole time. This seems like it's probably not an overly widespread issue since I'm not seeing a lot of people complaining about missing out on coffer items after last week's maintenance "fix," which makes me wonder what's happening.

Not a coffer, but I also had two items go missing from my inventory last night. It wasn't from a coffer, it was expired guild sale items. I had four expired things in my mail. I relisted them as soon as I took them from my mail, but only two items made it from my mail to my inventory. The other two are just...gone. Gonna file a ticket about both issues through the website, and recommend others do the same if you're having troubles. I know the event is almost over, but reporting the broken Wrothgar coffers now might still be useful. Somehow.

I don't think it was a Wrothgar thing, because I've stayed in Craglorn and IC for the entire event and one of my Glorious coffers during the first couple of days had neither a style nor a motif page in it.

My theory was that it might have had something to do with getting a style or motif page in a purple coffer before opening the Glorious coffer, because IIRC I'd gotten a purple coffer from harvesting a resource node before completing and turning in my first daily, and when I opened that purple coffer it contained either a motif page or a style page-- I want to say it was a Legion Zero style page, but it might have been a motif page. Shortly after, when I completed and turned in my first daily, my Glorious coffer didn't contain either type of page.

From then on, I always did the dailies first, and opened the Glorious coffer before the purple coffers, and always got either a style or a motif page in the Glorious coffer. But it may have simply been a question of RNG.

I often find that when something is called "glorious" it doesn't live up to its naming.

I got all mine from wrothgar and all had a style page. Though I'm still not sure what you actually use them for. Got a few duplicates in the bank.

Hmm... Most of my coffers I took from IC cause I made quests in advance and I collected not only full orsinium motifs collection but also got some Maelstrom & Legion Zero motifs. So yeah, there is something fishy here... Another story about glorious eso RNG xd

No idea why I was getting Craglorn set garbage in my IC reward boxes but it wasn't cool.
Would rather have had vendor trash treasures.

The Year One Coffers could have rewards from any of the three zones, I think.

Think it depended upon where you got the glorious coffer from.

If IC you got IC motifs and if from crag/wrothgar you got appropriate motifs.

It has to be all RNG. Yesterday I got 5 different motifs. In the days before that I got 1 style page and at least 2 more motifs.

I think the coffers had a lot of weirdness this time.

I literally did Maelstrom so many times during this event and with different characters, that I lost track. I got nothing but a lot of junk, some crafting items, a few "treasures" to sell as vendor trash - I think the most valuable one was worth like 250 gold or something. Mind you, I was there for weapons farming for one of my newly minted dds, but still. Was seriously underwhelmed with their contents this time. No style pages.

I opened all mine outside the event zones and got pages from all styles dropping during the event which leads me to believe it isn't where you open them but from where you obtained them that counts.

I've been doing Maelstrom too - it seemed the more runs I did the fewer coffers I got. Ended up lucky to get two coffers, which seemed mean given I could sit on a plank in IC Arena fire the bow a couple of times and get a glorious. And yes, the "rewards" were things like a spoon for 250 gold.

That wasn't my experience. Each coffer that I got could have rewards from Craglorn, Wrothgar, or IC, regardless of where I got them from or where I opened them. I didn't do any event activities in Wrothgar, yet I got Wrothgar rewards from some coffers.

I was talking in regards to the style motifs themselves.

Other stuff was random yes but not the motifs.

Okay, but I was talking about motifs as well as other things.

For instance, I'm pretty sure I got Ra Gada pages from the coffers earned from the IC dailies.

But I wasn't keeping screenshots or careful notes, so I've nothing to go on but my sometimes-spotty memory.
