Stolen Key Fragments?

I somehow have 7 stolen key fragments in my bag. It won't let me launder them. What can I use them for? Do I have to spend them or destroy them to open the space?

Same here, got them from a thieves trove which contained a year one box. no idea how to make them stack with regular key fragments.

I was going to ask this. I suppose the only thing you can do is get 53 clean key fragments and use them.

That must be what it was. I remember getting one of those as well. I bet they forgot about this part.

It would be fine if they could just be laundered. Hopefully that is just a flag they can hotfix.

They can probably be used anyway. So if you want to get rid of them, just bring them with you when you want to open a vault and make sure you have exactly the right amount so it doesn't prioritise the nonstolen stuff or anythinig.

I sent a /bug of it and enough people so same I'd expect it will be fixed in distant future.

If someone is optimistic enough to check if those can be used with proper count of regular key fragments, I'd like to know the result.

I don't know about key fragments, but for mats the game always prioritizes: Stolen->craftbag->inventory->bank
So I'd assume it'll prioritize the stolen ones.

I picked up a coffer from s theives trove. I just destroyed the whole coffer.

I wasn't sure about the relative priorities for all 4 of those, but I knew that for lockpicks the game always uses up any stolen lockpicks before using clean lockpicks. I usually launder stolen lockpicks, anyway, so they'll stack with the clean ones.

And for raw style mats and other raw mats that need to be refined, any stolen ones are added to the clean ones and refined together, so I would hope it works similarly with stolen key fragments.
