What could be the chances that Sweetwater Cascades will be free? Just as the door was closing on this amazing place.. its notable, im not a whale etc.. it checked out that this months event is for the current years expansion. Which could only be because sales of blackwood aren't as high as expected, which means it could indeed be free. I know im dreaming sure. But if i wasn't, i probably would be very tempted to get the mermaid furnishing pack to go with it.

At the moment thanks to endeavors and the quakecon crates im sitting on the zero spend option. There's 2 things missing from the gloomspore crates that i really want, but have the gems + coins to get both. I was even thinking about making up the gems via a 4 pack of gamble crates, but since there's no other spending required, would be happier min maxing to zero.

... unless of course the house is free then its probably another 3 month sub.

Theres a zero percent chance it will be free.

It's a premium home, it was shown in the Crown Store Showcase, AND we already know what this year's "free" house will be: Doomchar Plateau.

Yeah fair enough. I was just hoping they were trying to try to trigger blackwood sales by giving away a free house, like last year.

Hadn't seen doomchar plateau before though, is that going to be the free event house? Well that's a relief, ill be done with this years events after wrothgar then. Funny that the floating pet is the best reward....

Well if people who pay 10-15k for a house are lining up for this one, don't let me get in the way.

It's more like Coldharbour's in the sense that there's not actually a home, instead it's an empty free-build lot.

Not interested sorry. Perfect timing too, after getting the last 10 for the bird mount, i think im done for event ticket grinding this year.

Yeah, I wasn't interested much in it either. I play a lot of builders in my free time and ESO's just... The whole time I'm singing "Do you really want to hurt me?" when trying to fight with the UI because the wall won't line up properly.

But this one will spend his crowns on M'aiq the new house guest for sure!

Pretty excited for Sweetwater ngl. I'm very picky when it comes to houses and this is the first house besides Psijic Villa and the Alinor Townhouse that I'm actually interested in

I might have misinterpreted that, but I think unfurnished versions are also available with in-game gold, aren t they?

Unfortunately no. Pantherfang Chapel was only available for crowns as it is for many limited time homes. I expect the same for Sweetwater but I also expected it to come 2 months form now so you never know.

Sweetwater will release this month on the crown store.

99.9% chance it will be crown store only. Although they did surprise me with the early release I can't see them killing their cash cow.

Wow, sweetwater cascades is gorgeous. I hope you all enjoy your 18000 crown house (like you're not going to get the mermaid statue as well).

The cheapest way to get that is 12 months sub, and where i come from thats $144. I don't play that much to justify that spend for a house.

The house is 13,000 crowns unfurnished which is how I'm going to buy it. The crowns were a gift for my birthday but say I was paying. I bought the crowns on sale last month so the house is going to cost me 54.00 so thanks for playing.

Just had another look, given how big it is it might be a better deal getting furnished.

Then i was looking at the item pack, trying to work out how to get so many crowns for how much.

Then it clicked that housing is functionally useless, and like im going to go to any house apart from sleek creek regularly.

But even though this whole thing is clearly a whaling expedition, for the first time it seems whales are actually getting money's worth... so that's something. I genuinely hope you all enjoy it. Ill be mad about it if they ever add both crafting daily quests and wayshrines.
