What's up with gap closing abilities not working in Imperial City?

So, since a few months I got into PVP and can't, for the live of me, stop playing PVP. (so addictive!)
So after doing Cyro and BGs I went back to Imperial City, partly because of the year one event. I had high hopes because last time I was there I wasn't much of PVPer, with my new found passion of destroying fellow ESO PVP players I was really looking forward to getting in there.
To my disappointment my gap closing abilities (stampede & take flight) don't trigger. I had this in more than one district and more than one occasion.
Does anyone else experience this problem? Is it a known bug? Any way to get a work around? I couldn't find any references on the internet so I thought to get a quick post up on the matter.

Current work around(s): re-slot the skill(s) when you're not in combat (of course). If the skill(s) bugs again (and I can reassure you that they will), you need to re-slot them again... Or die... In work for the bugged skill(s) to work again.
Also changing districts might help, but it's not a guaranteed work around.
Just to let you know what's happening to DK's, at least, for too long on Imperial City @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_BrianWheeler

Aardappelboom✭✭✭✭✭Great, thanks, I did a reslot but didn't help, getting myself killed sometimes worked but it's not the most fun work-around. I'll try switching districts next time.
Just to add to this thread, I actually think the PVP modes that are available aren't all that bad, sadly I'm not really keen on getting into Imperial City with this bug active, which is a shame because it can be pretty fun when everything works out fine.0 -
Mythreindeer✭✭✭✭✭It’s a bug in BG as well. Ruins a couple of my builds and so I don’t play those toons anymore. Even deleted one - sad that.
