Crimson Oath's Rive and "Armor Reduction?"

Just wanted to make sure I understand the terminology here, but when Crimson Oath's Rive says "reduces the Armor of nearby enemies" that's only referring to "Physical Armor," right? Meaning Spell DDs see no benefit from the effect?

I'm used to seeing terms like "Physical/Spell Resistance." "Armor" just on its own seems pretty vague in comparison.

    Armor= physical + spell resistance
    Just like a piece of equipment gives X amount of armor that increases both physical and spell resistance.

    Cool, 4 years of this game and I never knew that!

    Thanks for the clarification!
