Addons All Labeled Out-of-Date

I'm trying to get a Lore Book addon running. (Such a tedious way to level up in the Mage Guild.)

Can someone link me to a current (useable) Lore Book addon? Or explain what I need to do to have one work? (I've tried the 'uncheck read only trick, to no avail.)

They say out of date,but most still work fine.I still have addons that haven't updated in a long time,but work,since most just do api bump to remove msg only,nothing else.Best to use Minion to make sure you get latest version,cause manually looking for updates is a pain.

My addons are being updated at a little faster pace than the last few times. The addon I use is https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info288-LoreBooks.html and though it shows as out of date it's working just fine.

You can also do the Mage Guild dailies that have you go into Public Dungeons, each one gives you 10 points. You can do a total of 15 a day for 150 points, by sharing the other 14 dailies from other players. The Achievements also grant additional points too, I forget how many but I think its around 25 points each. Books by themselves give 5 points each and a collection is an additional 20 points.

True. I should have mentioned that.

I never have a problem with the MG stuff - my characters all (60 of them) read every book they stumble across. By the time I need any of them to mess with MG, most of them are at 8/10 or so, and the quest line finishes it off (though I HATE Sheogorath....)

How do I sign up for Mage Guild Dailies? (Newb here...only on a week.)

I can't even find a quest in Craglorn for the Event...

You'll need to find the Mages Guild in your faction main city - Daggerfall for DC, not sure about EP, don't play EP much, and Auridon for AD - or Summerset works for AD too. Look for a mage named Curinure. He'll have a quest arrow over his head.

Can't help you with the event - I don't do this one.

Most of my addons say 'out of date', some have for years, but they still work fine. The important thing is to make sure to pay attention to anything noted in 'red' when looking at your addons in-game, it should tell you exactly what library or file you are missing, then go back into Minion and search for those missing libraries and install them.
