Dread Cellar quest npc missing at the end of dungeon PC/NA

This is twice today on 2 different toons where the NPC for quest completion and skill point is not there.

This has happened on PC-EU too, we found that any group members affected by it that to fix it was to teleport out of the dungeon and back in again.

For the love of pete! would someone please fix this?! Have four alts in there that cannot get the completion; the stupid NPC just will not spawn. Teleporting out and back in does not work.

Log out and back in and they appear. Obviously, you need to stay in group and someone needs to stay logged in while doing this. We took turns.

Happens in more than just this dungeon. Had it happen in Scalecaller last night on an alt.

A better fix than relogging is to drop group, then go through the portal and come back in (must be in that order I believe). This will trigger the end scene dialogue to restart which will make the quest available, and you should have plenty of time to complete it before the timer runs out.

Just don't accidentally hit the keybind for "leave now."

Also happening on console. If you jump out and back in seems to solve the issue or logging out then back in.

Has happened to me a few times, log out then back in. I reported in game last week sometime, so will see how long it takes to fix.

Yep have 1 stay in the dungeon and everyone else that needs the quest leave instance and come back. Only work around I've had work

This also happens on Xbox Series X. Ran the dungeon several times over the past few days, don't think there was a single occasion where both of us could see the mission ending.

Also the end boss, Magma, is sometimes invisible for me. He comes back into sight when he does that rail move.

You have to port out from the dungeon and back. Pain in the ass since you need a group member staying there to be able to port back...

This is also affecting the achievements “Waking Flame Scout” and “Waking Flame Delver” on Xbox/NA. It’s like the game doesn’t recognize you have finished the dungeon and the achievements don’t pop.

Can confirm, still occurring on Xbox NA. Gave up on getting the skill points from 3 or 4 dungeons because of this issue.

Same issue with Ice reach. Need to speak to Lyris at the very end but she's just not there. Despite the quest indicator showing exactly where she should be. 5 times now I've tried to finish it but can't ever make it back after going through the portal before getting kicked from the instance. No one will ever stick around after the final boss.

Someday I’d like to run this dungeon, hopefully it will eventually get fixed.

I haven’t run the other new one either because I can never remember which one has this bug.

happened to me about a week ago but worked yesterday when i did it on pc eu on normal. i thought i missed a talking spot with npc but took ages yesterday doing hidden bosses so know we dint have any where you had to talk to npc. at the end the wall were boss cam e out of was still there and a white arrow to speak with npc but no npc. all the group left instantly after rnd so couldnt relogin out and in and see if it fixed it. i went back to start and back again with portal but still the same

This is really frustrating.

I have experienced this issue with multiple characters, and if you find yourself at the mercy of strangers chances are you are out of luck.

Could we please at least get an acknowledgement that this is on dev's radar?

I've given up on getting the skill point from ice reach. 6 times now and no matter what, Lyris is never there at the end.

I found this on EU once, it was like they were there but may have fallen into the floor or something because I could see nameplate but not them, either that or they were invisible.

Still not fixed. Issue is effecting:

Ice reach
Dread cellar
Red petal
Banished cells 2

Literally the only dungeons left I need the skill points from but they're virtually impossible to get because they all suffer from this issue. Final quest NPC just isn't the to collect the reward. Shows on the nav bar and you can even hear the speaking but the NPC is either invis, hidden, or just not there. It's to the point I refuse to run these dungeons, even for pledges. I'll wait the 15 minutes to avoid the inevitable aggravation.
