Sound for group invite randomly appears

Since latest patch I (and other players too) receive annoying random sounds (as the group invite sound, new mail sound) etc.

Especially the group invite sound is super annoying, because you always check, if someone actually invited you and you have to tab out of menues to see that.

Yes. Can confirm... It's notification sound, but nothing.

Wonder if this is similar to that Streak sounds that we (sorcs) hear, but shouldn't.

Given the frequency and randomness, I notice it seems similar to when guild members join/leave. Maybe related somehow?

I have nearly all notices of that turned off. Plus it was a different sound originally but who knows.

Didn't notice the mail sound yet, but the group invite one appears rather often and is quite annoying. Even when already in a group.

In Rockgrove when killing ghosts on Bahsei HM in the portal they also sometimes do not play their death sound. Unlikely this is related as it has been around last patch already, but who knows.

I notice this sound when I get Mail, Receive the Daily Reward, Complete an Endeavor, Loot from a Rewards of the Worthy Coffer, and of course.. get a Group Invite.

Yep, I started a forum post about here:

And a whole bunch of people have been reporting it there, too.
Seems to be related to notifications when guild mates complete something. In my case, the notifications are off, but I'm still getting the sound.

I have been having the same issue with the group sound, startles me so bad sometimes Has been happening since the patch dropped. Could you please let us know if this has been aknowledged and hopefull looked at @ZOS_Kevin?

I was getting it when I mounted up, and then I started getting it for no discernible reason.

Also, I noticed that the sound alert when we queue for IC ('you may now enter this campaign') has changed sicne the update, and it's different than the sound we got before. Mayve they changed the notification sounds, and something got messed up, so that's why we get them randomly as well now.
