Says it all really - just anytime under 10% out of nowhere we still get the poison blast which wipes all DDs.

    i got the video here of that log run. @ZOS_GinaBruno please fix it. i normaly love doing any trials, but im starting to dislike vSO more and more and it feels wrong to dislike something i love.

    You can sneak past it! My guild prog group discovered that a while back... or wipe the group and run past while you're still a ghost or w/e you are.

    Not a solution to the troll problem, but...

    It's hard to call it a bug tbh, the buff of poison damage was one of intended changes, it was mentioned in FoA patch notes. They removed the jump in latest update because the jump damage was often desynced from animation (you took damage randomly few seconds after the troll landed).

    FYI - if poisoned person dies they explode and deal AOE damage to everyone around, this can create chain reaction of explosions and wipe whole group. Idk what damage looks like on normal but on vet it deals 18-20k damage so it easily oneshots people with parse food. Just don't stack and keep your distance from each other - this will prevent chain reaction of explosions.

    The only change I'd suggest would be to remove explosion mechanic from trash packs - corridors are really narrow and it's hard to not overlap so people are often killing each other, it feels like an overkill. On boss it's fine tho

    Last time I was in there, which was after FoA dropped but before WF, the poison explosion AoE did not match the poison spread AoE and had no proper telegraphs of its own. When a mechanic is going to be put on a character that will spread to or damage another if they’re too close, like curses on the first boss in MoL or overcharge in SO, there is a telegraph to show how far apart you have to be to avoid hitting another player. But this poison mechanic has two very different radii for the spread of the poison and its explosion. The one for the explosion has no visual, so there is no way to see how much space you need to put between yourself and others to keep from making them explode if you die. If you judge only by the “spread” telegraph, you will get much too close and blow people up if you die. When attacks like this, especially very dangerous ones, are missing telegraphs, I submit that’s a bug that needs to be addressed. (Olms is still missing his from his jumps last I knew as well, so this is not the only problem with telegraphs in game.) Alternatively, the explosion radius needs to be brought in line to match the spread one, if stacking two visuals would be too confusing. Either way, it can’t be a guessing game as to how far apart you have to be to avoid hitting someone else if you die.

    Here I completely agree - explosion radius should be exactly the same as poison spread radius, so players can have better understanding on how to position themselves around the boss.

    Alternatively the explosion could be delayed and show a visual effect (AOE telegraph followed by body exploding 1 second after player death? idk) so people can react and rolldodge away from the bomber.

    The radius isn't the issue - it's also not just the boss that has this attack broken AF, also on trash pulls the regular trolls can do this.
