new update reduced fps

Why is the game so slow now? I was used to play safely at 60fps until yesterday. Today I got a big update, I didn't change any settings, system, hardware, and now, even on battlegrounds I get around 20 to 40 fps. I already did a repair, no addons and reduced the view distance a lot. ✭Meanwhile I just found out that activating "multithreaded rendering" on video setting makes the game run like it was before the update. I'm now playing with 60fps again.
Looks like the update added that option and it is disabled by default now, that's why it was running so slow.0 -
