Do the Alliance War Skill Line scroll stack with war tortes ?

Hi,
hope this is the right forum to ask. I'm wondering if the Alliance War Skill Line scrolls from the Crown Shop will stack with the craftable war tortes. In the description it says it stacks with food and drink buffs, but are the war tortes classified as food ?
