Is this true or false?

It doesnt matter which brawler type you play (stamden, stamcro, stamplar, stamdk) - if you are high skilled, you will rip apart zerglings anyway, but you will melt against duo/trio of the equally high skilled players. Is this correct?

P.S. In so called "PVP tier lists" one class is usually S tier, another A tier etc etc. But in reality, apart from duels, how much influence you class abilities/passives have for the outcome of Xing? Nowdays you have such a wide range gear/weapon or guild abilities to choose from, to compensate the lack of specific class skills (apart from streak and cloak)..

Not necessarily, because a lot of meta "brawler" builds run really tanky with slightly lower damage, so one player can often hold off against two equally skilled players, especially if they use line-of-sight (a very popular survival & sustain tool in Cyrodiil), but probably not be able to kill anyone unless someone makes a mistake or has a trick up their sleeve. With the new CP system, I've seen a lot more draws/stalled-out fights in Cyrodiil.

    At least, in my experience.

Class passives and active abilities are really important. There's no non-class equivalent of Blastbones, Scorch, Green Dragon Blood, Backlash, Grim Focus, Overload, etc., let alone ultimates and class passives. Plus, we haven't gotten new non-class combat skills since 2018 (other than reworks).

But I definitely wouldn't take those tier lists as hard facts, even if they're well-tested and generally on the right track. I wouldn't let it discourage you from trying to 1vX or duel on a certain class that you like. Your class will probably just impact HOW you 1vX, rather than whether or not you'll ever be able to do it, although some aren't as good at doing it in a brawler-type of way.

A good example of this: I heard that Daedric Trickery is popular with stamdks on PC EU, bedause it gives stamdks a lot of buffs they usually can't get. Go figure.

I don't do much 1vXing in Cyrodiil or IC, but this is just based on what I've seen 1vXers do and how I've seen them do it. They mostly seem to waste people's time running around rocks :~p
