I try to farm that material since 9 days, and it is a very frustrating experience.
I had farmed before more than 3000 culanda laquer and more than 2000 shimmering sand.
Those quests are ok, as you get a guaranteed drop of those mats, so it is worth the effort.
But ivory brigade clasp is so hard to get. This is even more frustrating, as the upcoming DLC will allow us to get structural furnishing plans to build small castles.
ZOS, please correct the drop rate to work like in Summerset or Northern Elsweyr as soon as possible.

✭✭Agreed it should be a guaranteed drop for dailies like it was with Elsweyr and Summerset.
I stopped running the dailies after about two weeks. Seems pointless with the structurals not out yet and a double drop event almost certainly coming in Sept or Oct.4 -

✭✭✭✭I'm not sure about Elsweyr since I never really did those dailies, but for Summerset at least, it took them a while to make the Lacquer a guaranteed drop from each box. Before that it was RNG whether you got any from any given coffer. You'd think since they did that they'd realized how frustrating it is when style mats that are also used in furniture are so rare and hard to get, but it seems like that's not the case. Either that, or the Clasps ARE supposed to drop with every box, but there's a bug keeping it from happening.
