Yes, it takes awhile to get around the map because that is part of the gameplay and you don't want keeps being too quick to get to. My problem with it is how much of the map just really isn't ever used. A few months ago when I went there to do something that was not PvP (as one of my last fishing achievements required Cyro) I got a good taste of just how big the map is when you aren't PvPing. I swear the entire time I was there I only saw one other person outside of main roads and keep proximity. There's a few hidden gems sprinkled here and there on the map but I honestly feel it could use so much more content. I love the idea of questing while being "at risk" but you just don't find that here and quests like the IC repeatables just grow stale after awhile.
Seriously, I was discussing with a mate who I've been pvping with for years.
I said to him if you bought this game and pvp was your goal and you leveled a character made a build and then came to cyrodill in 2021 what would you think,
He said I'd delete the game
Seriously it's that bad we the players know this do the devs actually realise how bad it is?
It's not even a game it's just so so bad it's actually pathetic
It's soul destroying, as someone who played since console launch to see how much its been butchered it's just so wrong.
but the game works in bgs.
Now it's not just lag it has to be more
It was never this bad.
For now I think they should make larger scale bgs about 1/4 the size of cyrodill 25v25v25 or something like that
Then delete and re imagine cyro
Like anyone remember how gap closers were at the start, this all got messed up because dks could jump in to keeps
Next thing we knew gap closers made you fly through the air so so stupid
This game has been so screwed with its just broken now but more so in cyrodill
Maybe the issue with the buggyness of skills is because of how many times its been re coded to stop exploits etc
I think it just needs a clean slate.
Then maybe some of the skills mechanics that have been since lost could be reverted back to how it should be.
It needs to be sorted and I think this is the only solution.
