not implementing what some people want does not equal "don't care about our opinions"
Everybody is always going to look out for their favorite class and want to buff it to be the best. It's the devs job to sort out those who want to make their class OP over those that are needed for balance sake.

I too like to deal less damage with my ability than my Light attack, there is no proper spammable that deals decent enough damage.

My experience with stamDKs in PvP was you just wanted to put as many DoTs on target as possible, so stuff like the claw swipe and poison breath, (along with a lot of poison bow abilities), and then let the target freak out, run away, and melt. Might be easier to just caltrops 'em, and then put DoTs on, before letting them scamper off and expire.

Since Dragonhold no one dies to dot damage from regular skills alone.
There's also no reason to run Caltrops when Noxious applies major breach already.
Also running bow on stamdk is actively worsening your performance.

My experience has been stacking DoTs is still nasty, but like I said, I don't like DKs for PvP, so, I don't think I've been in Cyrodiil on one since the winter Midyear Mayhem.

In my view, one of the big issues with a DoT-dependent offense right now in 1v1 or Smallscale is that they're the least effective against the strongest class - MagCroTank - on account of Curative Curse, Disdain Harm, and Hexproof.

And a skilled Templar or Warden with their netch constantly up. Three of the six classes can actively shut down a Dragonknight's offensive power which is problematic to say the least. Also ball groups spamming purge make it hard to really get any meaningful hits in.
