Mirri's Mom

This is a bit distressing, but I find Mirri's mom, even lined with age as she is, more attractive than her daughter.
ZOS artists tried to shave Bastian (and reconsidered, luckily). Why at least not wash away that absurd rouge makeup from the young Ellendis (to have her more similar to Naryu is asking too much, I presume)?

My personal tastes, needless to say, nothing more.

So, err… on/off topic - anyone wish they could romance Kideya to see if she is as swanky as her Eye Of The Queen Son? Lol.

I haven't noticed any absurd makeup on Mirri, older women can be attractive too, this post made my head hurt.

If you find Mirri's mother more attractive then her, just means Mirri will look better with age, too.

If you need a character "more similar to Naryu" you should go and hang out with Naryu in her quests. Mirri is her own character.

Never noticed either in terms of attractiveness, but I wish I could adventure with Mirri's mom instead of Mirri, her personality is SCADS better. She's not snarky or whiny or judgy, I like that a lot.

Why do some people like to act out liking "not extremely young" women is something wrong or taboo or unusual or whatever (for lack of better words cause my vocabulary sucks). Like I'm so sick of seeing this, hearing this, reading this even feeling this etc.

Like... It doesn't matter if a woman is 20 or 50 (or let's say for an elf she's 200 or 500). If she doesn't lose her young spirit and takes good care of herself (not necessarily just physically) she'll be attractive and sexy as hell even in 60s. Period.

And If that distrubs someone because they feel that attraction but can't get over the age gap and then have to vocally make it weird - stop making it look that way please. It's not weird if anything it deserves respect! It really isn't nice and can have a negative effect on someone's confidence.

I know this thread is more of a joke than anything but it really does make something completely normal look weird when it's not at all. Just wanted to mention this. Thanks.

This. I dislike Naryu and I'm glad that my fears of Mirri coming off like a budget Naryu clone were largely unfounded.

Yeah, I don't get why people want her to be a poor copy of another character. She's not "more like Naryu" because she's not Naryu (and thank the Nine, the Three and every Daedric Prince for that!)

Sure, but by the time Mirri is her mother's age, most of our non-Mer characters will be old and gray, or dead!

More seriously, what I appreciated about Irreni Elendis is that she and her Hlaalu merchant husband seem very fond of each other in their marriage. From what we hear, they are clearly very different people who've grown to care for each other and raise a family. Irenni has a taste for adventure that her husband understands, and while Mirri may be less than impressed with her mother's flighty moods, he seems like the calmer influence on the family.

I knew I was going to like them when Mirri had this bit of dialogue.
    Did your family keep slaves?
"No! My mom and dad never approved of it. I even had a cousin who was forced into servitude and they helped my uncle free him at great risk to themselves.

Funny enough unless you are a telvanni master wizard or a sapiarch/psijic or otherwise heavily magically inclined elf, your expected lifespan as an elf is only around 2-300 as compared to about 80-100 for humans give or take. I fact I think that those 1000 year plus wizards are grossly bringing up the average (but not too significantly as there are obviously much less of them compared to other professions). So roughly 2-3 years to every 1.
