Spent 4 hours on Twitch and no drops. Starting to think they are dropped by the streamer.

✭Make sure you're on a participating channel, they're not the same each week. Also the drops are for the week, so once you claim them for the week there's no more unless a special event shows up.
Click on the campaign on this page: https://www.twitch.tv/drops/campaigns
click on the "and more" link after the short list of streamers and it'll take you to a page of all the live streamers in that campaign.

Folkb✭✭✭✭✭Audio can be off BTW.
Also make sure you aren't using any sort of video player extension.
A good thing to do is to open a second tab and click on i think drops and see if the bar moves at all.
