lag on xbox cyrodil is laughably bad

IDK if it's just me since I'm still rockin the Xbox One X and not the new Series X, but the lag is just unacceptable for a video game. Skills don't work. I had friends over watching me play and they were laughing at how bad the lag was. Especially with the keeps doing that weird falling down/rebuilding themselves just while you ride your mount near them. And then My feet would randomly glow after dying and respawning.

Come on ZOS. If New World is good, than you are gonna lose a lot of players who are just fed up with the lag.

You're completely correct tho the lag is completely unacceptable at this point (and has been for the last year at least). ZOS just keeps putting band-aid after band-aid on top of it. I find it laughable that some people want this game to be more "skill-based" when 90% of fights in PVP are decided by who's abilities actually register.

Yup. How can anyone take pride in their performance when you have people who get knocked 3 seconds after seeing the dragonleap animation? Or how sometimes you have to spam your potion button 3-4 times even tho you aren't doing any sort of action that would prevent it. It's like some alpha gameplay from cyberpunk or anthem level of bad.
