personally I'd like to have the option to hide armor pieces for all pieces, as it would certainly give more variety in customizing the outfit.
Then again, if anyone else remembers the age of the naked mage in early UO (bc it actually was the best option for regen..), the thought of plenty of chars in their undies makes me shudder too

Yeah, able to do decent tribal styles, bare chested WWs, and a salute to the murder hobos of all the DND games. It would allow the "clothing" section of the outfit tab which only has prisoner pieces more validity and we can open up on that without relying heavily on costumes.

Hide Shoulders- Light armored, barbarian style. optimization with the lack of any strap or harness for the sai sahan jack (example) And opens up "civilian style outfits and robes" without relying on costumes with no shoulders already added.

I wasnt suggesting a AO rating. In fact the title was morso a clickbait to get people interested in the idea of hidden armor slots as if you left it empty for customization. Several guildies want to be barefoot khajiit, and several who are WW want to go George of the jungle style with a loincloth.

I support the idea. I guess it originally wasn't done for 'immersion' purposes, but I think that has already jumped the shark with a lot of the Crown store items.

As of today I renounce shoulder armor, chest armor and weapons. I will travel the world beating things to death with my bare hands. Also make a thread about introducing Hand To Hand as a new weapon type, but that will have to wait a few days.
