what? wrothgar is a work of art and isn't plagued by the huge valley and hard to traverse terrain like north elsweyr

Am I the only person who actually thinks this zone has interesting terrain? The Stitches is pretty cool and the southeast road is gorgeous.

I know N.Elsweyr better than any other zone, have spend most time there.
I dont think the terrain is difficult, more so it is pretty authentic to a true deserty type of land.

I love N Elsweyr's terrian even if it's hard to navigate around. I'm SoCal/Southwest US girl and I just love all of Elsweyr from the palms trees to the Scar. I love Khajiiti architecture in ESO, I love Riimmen's layout, I love the color palette, I love finding M'aiq along the roads there, I love the glimpses of Akaviri lore and the intersection of Khajiit and Imperial cultures. That's not even getting into quest and dragons and other fun stuff.

I love the Stitches but then again I always love "rough" places like that in TES. Bravil in Oblivion, Riften in Skyrim, etc. Those kinds of places where you probably can do less legal things and people will leave you alone. I just love that stuff. Probably says a lot of about me as a person but hey, lol.

I'd probably agree with you if it wasn't such a pain to get around and had better shrine placement...the event really shines a light on the issue when trying to reach a dragon in time.

Oh yeah, I can totally see your point. I barely ever do dragon hunts, so for me it never was a huge priority. There's only a few spots where I'm a little irritated - mostly around getting that Skyshard near Vastarie.

You know, I used to like Wrothgar a lot more than I do now. The right mood, it's pretty cool. The area by old Orsinium is the most standout, the rest is kinda bleak. In winter time, it's cozy to play through. Right now, I'm enjoying the Elsweyr zones and all the foliage and brightness that you're describing.

Oh no! I love the whole of Elsweyr - my favorite zones in the game, followed closely by Blackwood. I don't care for Wrothgar at all.... I liked it better in Daggerfall.

The Elsweyr Department of Transport hears your concerns. Tourists experiencing road accidents are regrettable but this is not within the purview of this one’s Department.

From the north. The answer is almost always, "from the north."

Died far more in wrothgar, the cliffs are more distinct and or logical in Elsweyr
Might also be more visible as in an cliff wall on the other side is an danger sign.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Northern Elsweyr is great - some inventive terrain that actually feels unique in the world.

Shame about the lag spikes that’s have been around in the zone since it released.

didn't play Elsweyr yet, but Murkmire atm was hardest. One of the main story bosses one shoted me, fight with other one was like 6-7 minutes. Though it was awesome comparing to other zones quest bosses.

Northern Elswyer reminds me of the USA Southwestern deserts. Very pretty zone. Southern is like when you leave palm spring and start heading to the coast of Cali. Just gorgeous. I call North Vegas and South San Diego

I like having learnt the fastest ways to get to each dragon, "secret" passes and the fastest routes.

Having said that I understand that people are rather frustrated by the lack of wayshrines in the zone, not everyone is like me and appreciates wayfinding

Taking a full speed leap into a nearby ravine after killing a dragon expedites the race to the next one. (As long as you rez at a wayshrine.)

I was just talking about this yesterday, how I love the appearance of North Elsweyr, but it's a real pain if you need to get anywhere fast. Visually, it's fantastic. Navigationally, though, is another story entirely. More wayshrines could be very helpful.

Northern Elsweyr has definitely been the bigger pain of the two zones for me personally.
