Is the lead in spindle clutch II bugged?

I've been trying to get this for a week (about 7 times a day) but got nothing.
Now I heard yesterday in the guild that this would be bugged. Is that correct?

I got it yesterday after about 4 tries.

So on xbox, no.

It's RNG, might take you some time is all

Mazzatun lead took me like 20 tries.

My memory may be twisted, but I think I hunted for that one (or if it was a lead in the first spindleclutch?) a good few times before getting it. Some are notoriously hard to get. :-/

the lead is for getting Length of Sharpened Lead, 1 of the 5 parts for completing Shapeshifter’s Chain

Don't know about it being bugged, but I do know the lead is from the last Boss. Just ran it once to see and no luck. Will try a few more times and let you know how I go. I'm PC NA

No, it dropped easily for me, I think on the first run through as a random normal.

But the RNG for dungeon final boss leads is a bit unforgiving. I can't tell you how many times I had to do Volenfell to finally get that one - group, solo, normal, vet, HM... didn't matter Still ended up taking an obscene number of runs before I finally got it.

I've had the worst luck with the Blackheart Haven lead. Took me at least 15 tries to get it to drop.

I just got the lead from Crypt of Hearts II for the Snow Treaders a few days ago, after having run that dungeon enough times to induce nightmares. Now the only lead I still need for any of them mythics is the fresh water lead from Shadowfen, but I'm not playing Zenimax's game on that one. They can keep that silly kilt.

Thanks tomofhyrule, now i know that i just have to go on trying. I know its sometimes hard to get a lead: here the question was just that in the guild, people say it was bugged just like the map-lead. Thanks everyone for the answers and have fun!
