This game seems to use the trope of drinking too much as fun quite a bit. It especially annoys me when it is applied to an entire group of people to make them seem more fun. (E.,g., Nords, but to be fair to ZOS that has existed in TES for a long time). But you see it for what it is, alcoholism. Attitudes toward drinking seem to be changing somewhat versus what they used to be, and ZOS writers didn’t get that particular memo. Oh, well.

you said it. I get so tired of seeing people's careers ruined due to comedy skits they did 20 years ago.
I high school I can remember my German language teacher telling me that when she was a girl everyone drank beer because the water wasn't fit for human consumption.
