Any new significant features?

Is questing still easymode? That made me quit, it was so boring and underwheling to equip a char then see no challange outside of dungeons :(

Overland and questing is still no challenge unless you make it one by gimping yourself. There are ways to make it a challenge, but the focus has and always will be on the storyline and not the difficulty - Still the wrong game for you I'm afraid.

Yes, 90% of all content is too easy then...

There should be a hardmode with more XP but challenge so crafting and tweaking gear is a thing.

Storyline isn't even a bit good to be major focal point

The main storyline was fantastic and quite original - what are you talking about?

Overland content has always been, and will always be, easy... at least easy for high CP players with top gear sets and fully aware of how combat works. New players coming in without high CP, without top gear, and just learning their class and rotations it can be a challenge; I still see new players dying in starter zones and at dolmens.

Set collections: Any set items you obtain are now added to a new collections menu, which can be reconstructed at a transmute station.

Antiquities: Dig up stuff. It's not combat, but, if you enjoy the minigames, I'm not going to judge you.

Mythics: Orange rarity items. You can only have one mythic item equipped at a time. Statistically, they're equivalent to legendary items. However, they have unique 1pc set bonuses. It's a mixed bag. Some are garbage. Some are fantastic. Most have a, "cursed," theme. Such as a ring that heals you for 20% of your outgoing damage, but prevents other players from healing you.

Companions: You can now have a personal minion to even further trivialize overland content. Technically, they can be taken into dungeons, trials, and arenas, but they occupy a player slot. They can't enter solo arenas or PvP at all. The system is a novelty, but it is something else to play with.

Vampire Overhaul: Vampire abilities were completely reworked last year. Mist Form, and Drain are still there, but almost everything else has been altered. RIP Supernatural Recovery and Bats.

Champion Point System Overhaul: It now involves actively slotting stars. Opinions are mixed. Some of the new star effects are very nice, but at the same time, swapping active stars can feel fiddly. (Swapping for specific content is certainly cheaper than it used to be.)

I feel like there was another major change, but I'm drawing a blank right now.

EDIT: The spending cap is gone. You can earn, and spend, up to 3600 CP. Because of the active slots, you can't actually use most of that at one time. You only need about 900 to fill out most of the passive stars. But, it's a major change.

Here's an idea, play another game. Why would anyone try to lure you back? Quick gam, what does this mean? Ead. Two tries.

"Unfortunately" (depending on how you view it) the game is catering towards new/inexperienced players.
That means that 90% of all content will be "too easy" for most of the online veterans.
For example, I've never met so many people in any previous online game saying "this is my first online/mmo experience".

If anything, ZOS has made things even easier through the years, with very limited amount of content aimed towards the "veterans". Which, I suppose, also explains why the average CP level was (pre-CP changes) at 410.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

There's been a bunch of releases - Greymoor, Markarth, Blackwood among them. Each brought new zones and systems.

    Greymoor
Antiquities was a skill line added in Greymoor. It's a good system overall, something relaxing to do and makes good money to boot. It's a great way to find cool furnishings. The higher levels are a bit grindy to get through, but worth it IMO.

Greymoor added new zone events called Harrowstorms. They're a bit rough, and I don't think many people farm, but worth going through for the achievement.

    Markarth
Markarth added Vateshran Arena, another solo arena, and its own zone Harrowstorms. Overall decent zone, has great music.

    Blackwood
The newest release. The zone itself is pretty cool, the Oblivion Portal zone events are more dynamic and appear at semi-random locations. Of the 4 guilds I'm in, I don't see anyone farming these, so I can't speak to their worth. Blackwood's big feature is the Companions systems. You can dress them up, level up their skills, and use them to help you in the open world. Personally, I find them more hassle than they're worth.

    QoL
They improved the daily writ process. Now when you're at a crafting station, you can set your character to focus on what you know, what you have materials for, and what's a quest objective. Love this actually, especially on my 12 crafters.

Sticker book. You can now unlock gear on your account as you get drops. So you've been running Deshaan for ages, and storing all your Mother's Sorrow gear. No more! Loot once, bind to your account, and then you can reconstruct it later using dungeon tokens.

Endeavors got introduced recently, which are a way to earn items previously available only in crown crates. You complete an objective, you get Seals of Endeavors - a new currency. Objectives come in daily and weekly flavors.

Questing is easier, especially in the new content. Plus with the addition of companions, you can make it even easier. It's not a bad thing, just my perception.

This has already been debated in several threads, but to answer your question, overland questing is not a challenge especially for veteran players. But this is how it should be because it's purpose is to tell the story, and it needs to be accessible to all players. Plus many players enjoy a relaxing gaming experience.

There are several veteran dungeons, trials and arenas for those who are looking for a challenge.

I agree. The quests and stories are great. It's such a shame they don't provide the challenge to match the story.
Overland questing is so easy it's just not fun.

It's a lot of fun for me, and many others. I like feeling strong and like the hero. Being beat up by a bear who happened to be standing next to a node I want to harvest doesn't give me that.

I was talking about the quest lines, not stray bears. Quest lines have bosses and build up to "challenging" encounters....

But if overland questing was made more difficult a lot more players wouldn't get to enjoy this content then. I have no problem with players getting things added to the game that they enjoy, but not if it comes at the expense of others.

It's been suggested before that there be a scroll or some such thing that the player could use on quest story bosses to increase their difficulty. That would be a great solution because no one but that player is affected by their choice.

I wonder what if there are quests requiring players to deal with multiple world bosses and group dungeons. Like a long story connecting several dungeons, each of them would normally require player to team up with others who are on the same quest stage.
