Based on the current companions and their AI script, almost all of their abilities are pretty basic that either requires a target lock or are self cast, so it should be somewhat predictable what future companions will most likely get from the existing classes. Here is a list of what I expect to see from future companions and how they will be implemented.
Templar Companion
- Piercing Javelin: Probably be an immobilize rather than a knockback or stun.
- Focused Charge: Similar to Explosive Charge morph, does AOE damage on contact without the interrupt or stun.
- Sun Shield: Base effect. Self health =< 50% cast.
- Sun Fire: Base effect, damage over time 8 seconds duration.
- Backlash: Purifying Light morph, maybe 30% (50% on player version next update) damage copied.
- Eclipse: Unstable Core morph, debuff duration last 2 seconds.
- Rushed Ceremony: Honor the Dead morph, when healing targets =< 75% health, reduces cooldown by 1-2 seconds.
- Cleansing Ritual: Base effect. 8 seconds duration. (conditions like Ritual of Salvation)
- Rune focus: Base effect. Self health =< 75% cast. Reduces damage taken by 20%.
Sorcerer Companion
- Clannfear: Temporary summons, leap - stun at enemy target, tail swipe every 5 seconds, lasts 8 seconds.
(Augment trait for second tail swipe)
- Daedric Curse: Base effect.
- Conjured Ward: Provides a damage shield for self and allies. Self or Ally health =< 75% cast.
- Crystal Shard: Crystal Blast morph, AOE damage on contact; or Crystal Fragments morph, cooldown may reset casting other spells.
- Rune Prison: Rune Cage morph.
- Daedric Mines: Base effect.
- Mages' Fury: Base effect.
- Lightning Form: Base effect. Reduces damage taken by 20%.
- Bolt Escape: Base effect, targets enemy, closer ability.
Warden Companion
- Dive: Base effect, always applies Off-Balance.
- Swarm: Base effect, damage over time 8 seconds duration.
- Bear: Temporary summons, charge - knockdown at enemy target, paw swipe every 5 seconds, lasts 8 seconds.

- Fungal Growth: Base effect.
- Lotus Flower: Base effect.
- Nature's Grasp: Nature's Embrace morph.
- Frost Cloak: Reduces damage taken to self and allies.
- Arctic Winds: Polar Wind morph.
- Frozen Gate: Frozen Retreat morph. Allies can teleport to the companion.
Necromancer Companion
- Bone Armor: Beckoning Armor morph.
- Bone Totem: Base effect.
- Grave Grasp: Base effect. debuff duration last 2 seconds.
- Flame Skull: Base effect.
- Skeletal Mage: Does not trigger criminal act. Base effect. lasts 10 seconds.
- Shocking Siphon: Base effect.
- Render Flesh: Just heals.
- Spirit Mender: Does not trigger criminal act. Base effect. lasts 10 seconds.
- Restoring Tether: Base effect.
