T-bagging simulates *** and must end

Dear ZOS,

I wish to discuss the abhorrent practice of "t-bagging", occasionally replaced by "push-ups", used by some players in Cyrodiil, Imperial City and Battlegrounds over the dead body of the opponent.
This practice is the equivalent of a simulated ***, is not in line with your Code of Conduct, and should end.
I suggest disabling emotes in all PVP content.
PVP is violent enough. Players do not need to endure also simulated rapes.

While I wasn't active in PvP for a longer time,friends of mine are full time PvP'ers and always record their sittings.
When someone t-baggs them they have it on video,send it to costumer support and the guy/s get a temporary ban.
You could do the same.

I did play a lot of Battlegrounds and never got t-bagged,mostly in BGs people are too busy for this.Did happen once in Cyrodiil to me but that was it.

Kids being kids,they will grow up one day.
I couldn't care less of what emot someone does on me in PvP.

I think people read too much into it..

But if it is a problem sure disable crouching when on top of a body.

T-bagging has become pretty far removed from this interpretation and is basically just a gamer taunt now.

That being said it's already reportable so dunno what you're asking for here. 🤷‍♀️

That's uh... a little extreme. I usually just reserve it to anger nightblades, because nightblades. Don't take that away from me.

It's already against the terms of service, and something you can report people for. Sucks when it happens, but reporting someone is as easy as ever.

People know what they're simulating when they're doing it, and they know they're doing it to make a stranger upset. Pretty straightforward motives. Do it among your friends if you like it, but with strangers it comes off way different.

Tbagging as much as I know is already against the TOS since some recent patches but besides that, you could potentially look away and / or respawn to avoid it. I don't like people roleplaying in say and zone chat am I supposed to open a thread about it when their roleplay gets out of hand and involves my experience or they include people passing through like me checking guild vendors?

Respawn, and don't give em the time to do so if it's so problematic.

It's against the TOS if someone asks you to stop but you continue doing it anyway, because then it counts as harassment. I generally get teabagged after getting X'd, and usually just laugh it off. It's not worth getting angry about.

I dont have a problem with T-bagging either, its been in gaming for years. Dont think people should read too much into it like op, you got no problem killing people ingame either right?

Please dont, this will probably end up in an unresponsive mess, imagine trying to cloak and enter sneak but it doesnt work you cant figure out why, asume its a bug but its because someone died near you. Add all the location desyncs we have and its just going to be awful.

If people have such a problem with getting T-bagged maybe add an option they can switch on where they dont see enemy players around their corpse when they are dead. Or another less intrusive change.

I have a problem with not getting teabagged. I’ve been killed plenty in PvP and no one’s given my carcass that kind of attention. It’s just rude.

Besides it is not like t bagging is just an infantile practise of teenagers. I bet most accounts baned for it belong to adults.
Online, people do not wear their social corsets and behave like they really are or want to be.

I wish to discuss that not all behavior shown by players in-game is done with an ill or offensive intent, rather it is only viewed as such by some who do not understand the ancient tradition of described behavior.

T-bagging was never introduced as a sexual or improper action in gaming in the past[snip]

While in reality this act indeed does have improper and/or sexual context and such act is beyond vile, rarely (if ever) it is done for that reason in-game.

Please refrain from punishing innocent players that only want to have fun and innocently taunt their defeated opponents as many of us were used to for decades of online gaming. Punishment would discriminate the "offender" just the same as the "offended" as neither have a way of knowing what their personalities are or aren't sensitive to.

Be fair to all parties with equity.

Idk. If things changed how would you brag about a kill or rub in somebody's failed attempt at killing you, etc. I don't do it personally because I couldn't be bothered. A lot of players seem to enjoy it though. No need to ruin someone's fun over a video game character temporarily dying.

It is basicly squatting over a pixeled character on the ground. I must admit I was against it when many of my guilds disapproved of using it. When I got tbagged and, of course, I found it rude. Nowadays, it is a reminiscent of the better days in Cyro. Almost like a nostalgia trip to get tbagged. I never really understand the real meaning of that. Like, um, got killed and some enemy is up and down on my body...what killed me?! Just care little to nothing about it.

I came across a guy t-bagging on of my alliance members. he was super tank and nobody could really hurt him. he would stop to heal and break free and continue. I haven't laughed that hard since the world went to crap. [snip] we like fun

Would be great a 1 gold coin for each tbag... I would have a motorcycle instead of a horse lol I rarely tbag but seriously... Tbags are a tradition, nothing else. Doesnt simulates anything and usually there are profesional tbaggers who make really enjoyable your own dead. Would be great that shovel or sweep would add sand mountain to the corpses too lol
