New House sale

How long are new houses usually on sale for? 1 week, 10 days, 2 weeks? My birthday is 10 days after the release of 31 and I'd sure like Sweetwater Cascades.

Houses are released in 2 ways:

They are added to the game and available for a long, long time—like Moonsugar Meadow, Stillwaters Retreat, Proudspire Manor, Water's Edge.

Or they're released for brief periods of time, like 3 days to 2 weeks.

Sweetwater Cascades will be added to the game files with Update 31, but that doesn't mean it'll be available then. Sometimes the new houses release the same month, sometimes not for 2-4 months. If it was announced as releasing with Update 31, I must have missed it. But I'd expect it to take a month or two to release, and be available for 1-2 weeks.

That's interesting. I didn't know that. I wasn't interested in Pantherfang Chapel, not my kind of place. Did it get released when 30 dropped or is it still in waiting.

Pantherfang still hasn't been released. It will likely come in August alongside the Zenithar Furnishing bundle (most Crown manors in Chapters have released in July or August, so several months after the Update).

Tsaescishoeshiner is correct that it may take an absolute age till we end up seeing them sold... Markarth came out in November, but Stone Eagle Aerie was only sold in March! So sorry to say but you won't be able to plan around house releases since it could be anything from 1 month to 4 months. (Except houses that are obtainable through gameplay like Water's Edge and others which become unlocked as soon as the content drops).

Well if that's the case with luck we'll get a sale on Crowns before it drops. I'd like to get as much bang for my buck as I can.
