PvP reward chests with rings and necklaces stuck on chars below lv 50 - cant be opened or banked

I have accepted reward chests from old pvp campaigns from mail when the 30 day mail timer was implemented. This are chests with rings eg. I have accepted this on chars below lv 50. But you can only open this chests with lv 50 and you cant place them in the bank so they are stuck on these chars and cant be opened.
