The old cp system was better than the new one in most ways.

I feel that the new cp system is far worse than the old one it would have been better to just add new things to the old one and increase the amount of points you can spend on this cp system only benefits the oldest players and not new ones or people like me who barely made it past co 810 I am high disappointed in the direction this game is head and I spent $1000s on this game money the united state government gave me because of disability that money I can never get back so please keep that in mind when you read any and all post of mine thanks.

I love the new cp system for a good amount of reasons, one being the shadow strike passive and sneak passives.

That being said For a game that releases constant paid dlc I just think the old cp requirements to do the best dps were insane. It was a nightmare even dreaming of reaching 800+ cp
I'm happy that At cp 1000~ people can now also be on par with guys with cp 2000. Eso isn't about grinding lv like black desert after all.
Even at cp 600 you aren't that far off in dps, that's awesome.

I just think people should get some reward for reaching cp 3000 , maybe cosmetic or at least a title like (ASCENDING GOD) i mean they deserve it . Since there were players that reached that cp lv. Or just leaderboards for max cp lvls.

I like the look of it, how easy it is to use.

Old CP was basically just, put points into everything to make your character better. Now, I have to choose between better healing, being more tanky, or doing more damage. It makes room for customization and it removes diminishing returns. I don't have to wonder how many points I'm actually wasting by dumping them into a passive. A ceiling is good to have and clear details on what I get in return gives me peace of mind.

The old cp system was heavy on their server.

I was cp 560 when i came back to eso with the new cp system, and now i'm cp 900 so i can't say i'm in any way sad. People that pay for dlc content should have a shot at end game dmg too, this aint black desert after all where you grind 3 years to lv up one lv.
That being said you are cp 800 and complaining? for real? you are missing what 100 wep damage from cp tree?

CP2.0 isn’t flawless but it can be easily expanded on like we’ve see recently and imo is way more interesting than the old system.

Other people spend money here too but we all know changes are bound to happen over the course of years. We’re not all gonna love every change but I don’t think that’s a reason to give up on the whole game. Damage is the same and we got more health to offset the losses to mitigation from the old system.

There just not enough passive in the new cp system and your limited to 4 slots per tab it's does have some nice new things to it like the health Regen aspect with ultimate points but the passives of the old worked better for me.

CP 2.0 has it's flaws, but it's way better than the previous iteration in terms of character progression and customization. As for it favoring 'older' players rather than new ones, it's the same in almost every other MMO that has any sort of leveling system. However as others have stated, this system has a ceiling that is easily near the same DPS threshold post CP 600.

I don't mind the new approach for the Warfare and Fitness trees.

But the Green Tree is ridiculously bad for micromanagement during basic gameplay.

I used to be able to log into Belkarth, do my writs, sell my junk, repair my armor, steal or murder a few people, fence the loot, then head out for my morning Craglorn farming loop without having to slot or unslot anything.

I only spent points on 4 activated slot and the rest passive If I was happy with the game 2 years ago I would have been 810+ a hole year before the change but changes in the game cost me to loose interest in it and unsporting behavior of other players too.
