Increase Companions level caps & more

Please make all gear or at least crafted gear equipable on the companion so they them selves can have set bonuses also I feel there level cap should be at least 50 and I feel higher level gear than cp 160 should be introduced to the game so the equipment a cp player wheres can give them the full bonuses also I feel the transmodifier stations should have a level modification for gear to increase the level of the equipment they want to the level of that character so people don't have to get rid of all there golden gear they made just to keep up with higher gear levels. It takes a long time or tons of gold to make lots of different sets of gear improved all the way to gold.

You’ve spammed 3 fairly incoherent posts already essentially saying that you want more ways to take the group element out of the game and make this game more like single players from TES.

This post tries to fix something that isn’t really an issue especially player gear cap and then just throws in some not thought out fixes for some of the many issues that increasing it would introduce.

I like a mix between the group element and the single player but mostly single player because I am one of those players who like to avoid drama so I am anti social and I don't have real life friend to enjoy the game with most of my other friends quit playing the game because it got so bad but having some things for people like me would bring some improvements and I just type up what comes to mind and that's an play gear cap is an issue I looked at my cp 160 gear with my none co characters and each items set bonuses are dropped by 300 to 500 once you are above cp 160 the gear bonuses still drop and I also run out of room to store all my gold gear so being able to equip them to the companion gives me more room and I don't want to take the group element of the game out I just want it to be easier to play dungeons and and trials with having to be in a group because I hate groups that are randomly put together in dungeons because of mean people who will invite there friends in the game then be evil and kick you ganging up on you and then complete the dungeon with replacing you just to be mean just because you aren't good enough or your too good and there jealous but I have notice the companion say the same things that the characters in dragon age inquisition which is unrelated to this but still why say some of those same lines in a different voice everyone knows you can alter they way people should with devices. And also it's very confusing to figure out were each post should be made for me I have a learning disorder and a mental illness that makes every day life harder for me then other people

Just so you know, when you look at CP gear with lower level characters, the bonuses will look different, much like if you look at the lower level gear with a CP character. It's a quirk of the UI.


There's a couple other things to consider with your requests.

1. Companions are currently using their own gear because it's easier for ZOS to balance them according to the power ZOS wants them to have. It is not necessary for ZOS to let them wear player gear in order to make Companions more powerful. Instead, giving them their own gear actually makes tweaking their power level easier without buffing/nerfing player sets. This is beneficial for players because our stuff isn't getting changed as ZOS tries to balance companions.

2. The gear cap is also beneficial for players because it means you don't have to continue acquiring gear once you attain CP 160. It's not like some games where Blackwood would come out, the gear cap goes up to CP 200, and now all your gear is obsolete until you regrind it. Companions. Transmodifer stations wouldn't help, unless they are free, in which case, why are we increasing the level again?

Well it should be the same if everything is scale to the level I don't like seeing that I'm losing 300 to 500 from the set bonuses it's aggravating sense the amount of attributes is limited to 64 if that wasn't the case then the equipment cap wouldn't be a problem and there are other MMORPGs out there that allow to change the level of equipment so you don't have to buy or make new ones and I believe in this team of people animating this game all things are possible when you put your minds together if you stick to the same way of thinking nothing gets done.
