How much do you need with CP 2.0 / Impen traits etc?

Any PvP Veterans who can put me up to speed?

No one really runs impen anymore, if you can block/roll alot i woukd go for wellfitted/sturdy. If not go for impen.

Well-fitted is stronger than impen simply for the fact that taking zero damage is better than taking reduced damage.
If you don't dodgeroll a lot, Impen is obviously still better.
Divine is good for your damage, but Infused has its uses too when it comes to buffing your stat pools for certain proc sets.
Reinforced only on big pieces if at all and chests have priority because you get the most of it there.
Invigorating isn't bad on paper, but is only ever useful if you were going to use a recovery mundus in the first place, planned on going full divine, but ended up lacking in the off-resource and health recovery.

Sturdy is up to preference. Personally I don't run with it because I don't block much and with Gaze of Sithis you might want to rethink how important your block cost is when you could be running well-fitted, divines, reinforced or impen instead. Math says Sturdy is the strongest trait, but theory means nothing if it doesn't apply to your personal experience, so it's up to you.

Training and Nirnhoned are just bad, although even training has its uses if you want to level up while grinding in IC and Nirnhoned is better than Reinforced if your armor is white quality (lol).

Adding onto what has been said everyone already gets a base crit resistance pool of 20% critical mitigation. Add onto just how squishy we are now since CP 2.0, and the changes to Malacath's Ring, and critical resistance isn't something people build into as heavily anymore.

I would say impenetrable though it gives you much less than it used and that using sturdy, well fitted or reinforced offer more defensively per piece. I would say critical resistance has never been so important. Keep in mind you get 1650 base crit resist and this goes a long way. I still slot the "resistant" slottable from the cp tree and wear at least 4 pieces of impen. This can be enough to survive a NB or not IMO. 2 piece critical riposte on your backbar is pretty popular ATM as well.

Crit damage essentially got a buff with the cp change as it offered you less crit resistance even with the new requirement to slot it.

Even if you wear full Impen a Critbuild can still onehit you, so no real point to invest into it.

Purely in the name of science I tried to go, let's say Super Well-Fitted, which is not only all well fitted medium pieces, but also Crusader set on body, and Meridia's blessed armor backbar, for maximum amount of dodging and evasion one can do. This sound cool and all, but you explode the moment you catch one of those unblockable undodgeable stuns.

So next I decided to get the best out of both worlds, I got 5 well fitted heavy pieces of critical riposted, medium well fitted snow treaders and light well fitted domihaus shoulder, all with healthy enchants, which would allow me to have a lot of health, armor, impen and be all well fitted on top of that. In all of that I went 100->0 to one stealthy ganker in a split second before break free animation could even finish.

    Tl;dr I suck

It depends on if you're in a group or not. Most of a bomber's damage is crit damage and a lot of people are stacking high crit damage using CP and major/minor force with high crit chance using sets like Mechanical acuity. You wanna have at least 2000 crit resistance if your in a group with a healer running Transmutation, If not you want as much as you can get and using impen trait gear and resilience the crit resistance cp.

Crit resistance is good but so is having enough health. You wanna have at least 28khp so you don't die to bombers and blow others up.
