Disappearing crafting surveys

I had come across this bug before, but I thought it was just my imagination or something. I could have swore I had two of the same survey, but when I looked in my inventory, they were both gone.

I was able to replicate this bug in Western Skyrim, using two Woodworking surveys. Wood isn't a big deal so it would not have bothered me if one disappeared, so I tested my theory... sure enough, both surveys disappeared from my inventory as soon as I looted the first node.

I am not sure if this bug is universal. I also tried to see if it happened with a pair of Enchanting surveys in Bangkorai but they worked properly.

You know what is especially infuriating? When I take measures to keep this bug from happening and stealing crafting surveys, and IT STILL FETCHING HAPPENS

I just had both an Enchanting survey and a Jewelrycrafting survey stolen from my BANK

The only way you can protect your multiple West Skyrim surveys from vanishing is to put all but one on another character.

I've ended up just holding onto my Western Skyrim Surveys until they fix it.

Fortunately support was understanding and reimbursed me a jewelry survey

Still, spreading the surveys among multiple toons seems to be the only solution in the meantime.

hey, good excuse as any to take my stamplar and sorcerer out for a hike. Both are heckin' cute vampire creatures with fangs so I like looking at them.
