I have gear that can be sets. How do I get gear?

Do I have to do dungeons and trials to complete sets? Or, do they drop during questing? I only have gear that has dropped during questing, it would be fun to have sets or more powerful gear.

The zones, dungeons, trials, and arenas drop specific sets. To find more of the desired set pieces, find out where the set drops and then go there.

Once you are there and depending on the type of zone it is (zones, dungeons, trials, and arenas), do the sort of things to get set pieces.

-Open chests
-Kill bosses, any kind of boss (world, delves, public dungeon, all the bosses)
-Do quests, this includes overland, trials, etcetera
-Certain dailies result in gear drops from reward boxes
-Get jewelry from dolmans and sometimes from chests.

Crafted sets are great for starting out, and some for even high levels. They have set bonuses too, and it's easier to get them for the same level all at once.
