For many, 2022 will be the year of Hammerfell, 2023 will be for the Telvanni, and 2024 will be either for the Argonians or for the Nords.
I allow myself to propose another diagram and would like to see your opinion on it.
2021 : Blackwood (nibenese, daedra, khajiit, argonian)
2022 : Hammerfell, Crowns zone (redguard)
2023 : Colovian Estates (colovian)
2024 : Telvanni Peninsula (dunmer)
2025 : (Altmer/Khajiit ??? or Argonian)
2026 : Eastern (or independant ?) Kingdom of Skyrim (central Skyrim) (nord)
2027 : Black Marsh (argonian)
I used the same pattern as what we have had so far.
2015 : Imperial City (nibenese, daedra)
2015 : Orsinium (orsimer)
2016 : Thieves Guild (redguard)
2016 : Dark Brotherhood (colovian)
2017 : Morrowind (dunmer)
2017 : Clockwork City (dunmer)
2018 : Summerset (altmer)
2018 : Murkmire (argonian)
2019 : Elsweyr (khajiit)
2019 : Dragonhold (khajiit, "imperial")
2020 : Greymoor (nord)
2020 : Markarth (reachmen)
2021 : Blackwood (nibenese, daedra, khajiit, argonian)
With Blackwood, we find two races that clash: the Nibenese and the Daedra like IC DLC.
For orsimers, there is no longer any real zone available. What followed with Hammerfell which is the most likely option. After the Orsinium DLC, we just have a piece of Hammerfell with Hew's Bane.
Next comes the Gold Coast, part of Colovia. It would make sense to finally see Skingrad and the other counties still unknown because of their absence from TES IV. Knowing that Colovia remains quite different culturally from Nibenay. And frankly, all Imperial players are still waiting for Colovia. Blackwood is successful but it is not the area we were hoping for.
Then we find the same routine started in 2017 with the concept of Chapters.
For 2025, there is no longer an Altmer zone. For the Khajiit, it is very small despite two major cities. Maybe an Argonian year then? I say this in relation to the Q4 Murkmire DLC.
Whether in 2025 or 2026, it is possible that it will be a Chapter in the Nibenay and a Q4 DLC in the remaining area of Elsweyr and this in comparison to the Khajiit + Imperial mix of Dragonhold. Nibenay is however small (if one takes into account the Niben) and has only for only Mir Corrup colony ... The Nibenay can as well be a DLC Q4 which can follow a Colovian Chapter.
Then we find the Nords with Whiterun in 2026 or 2027 and finally the Argonians in 2027 or 2028 knowing that there will not be much more imperial to be explored and that it is possible to see a new Daedric incursion like Blackwood.
