Gave it a shot and it seems pretty dang useless. I opened 3 Master Writs I knew the stations were in Malabal Tor, opened my map and it they don't show me squat as to where to go. So I zoomed to Malabal Tor maybe they'll give me a bead on the stations. Toggling through the quests, all 3 show me to go to Grahtwood at the south part of the map, I followed it and then it told me to go to the docks at the south part of Grahtwood that would take me to Auridon. I went back to Malabal Tor, only when I got close to the crafting stations did the arrow change. Maybe they were a fluke and same problem persists, I chose Grahtwood next and one of the crafting stations, Torug's Pact, is right next to the marker its telling me to go... the docks to Auridon. Sometimes I would get arrows to some in the zone like Reaper's March correctly displayed arrows for Night Mother's Gaze and Willow's Path, but would tell me to go to another zone for Hunding's Rage.
The new zones are fine, where there are only one place they could be and have no problems there. However, anywhere in the base zones where you have 3 possible zone options, it has problems. If I were someone new to this, it would be rather confusing and still downright useless feature to follow as it just leads around to nowhere even when you're in the correct zone where the crafting stations are located. I still have to rely on third party sites like: https://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/Set+Bonus+Crafting+Locations for the ones I don't remember off the top of my head, the tracker does not help me in any way until I am directly on top of the crafting station.
