You mean 4-5k non-dodgeable aoe, free hits per second right? And if you are getting hit by 15-20k abilities you need to change your gear/build.

Who guys? Who felt the need? Which changes? Who are you talking to?

Heavy attacks are fine
I have 30k resistances prior to buffed pariah btw.
That's in 3 ticks, so divide by 1.5s to get dps.
Did you go to the elemental blockade and caught concussion + off-balance?

He is not the problem, you might just be out of touch with reality unless you go full potato some builds will nuke you no matter how much resistances or mitigation you have. Last night i literally bursted the emp for 47k in one second most of the damage came from combining light and heavvy into the rotation.
Then their build is terrible. Kinda doubt you managed to actually hit for 47k in one second. Granted you could a pure gankblade/ganksorc and they weren't wearing any appropriate gear. Personally haven't been hit by that much since maybe even the good old crit stamsorcs of way back before major buffs.
All the buffs stacked on top of each other, you can do insane numbers. But that means you roll double undaunted sets + maelstrom destro, opponent stands in your barrage, he caught concussion+off-balance, you have both undaunted buffs up (casted both stam and mag skill recently), you are DK with molten armaments, you have empower buff up (which is 3s from all sources DK can get).
Yes, it can melt in those conditions. But no, not in "one second". But in 2 heavys is quite a realistic scenario, if opponent is health-potato without armors & shields & reductions.
