Public Dungeon Game Freeze

This has happened twice recently. Two different public dungeons, one in Skyrim, one in Blackwood. Both times I was in the middle of fighting a boss. First time I was alone. Second time, my wife was partied up with me and we froze simultaneously. Music continues to play but we have to end the program in the task manager. When we log back in, our characters are dead. We are on PC.
