So maybe I misread something here, but the "Alliance Banner Emblems" drop from Boon Boxes, with one guaranteed each day.

And you need 10 of them (Plus an item you buy for AP) to make a style page for either a Staff or Shield for EACH alliance. So there are 6 pages total.

But there are only 13 days to the event.

So, the only way to get more than one page this event, is to either buy them with tickets, or grind regular Boon Box sources A LOT, assuming they can even drop from boxes after the first one you open a day...

Curious why event boxes won't drop from Fighters Guild bounty quests, as they only drop Cyrodiil PvP gear, like the official sources listed in the announcement:

Battleground quests from Battlemaster Rivyn

Scouting, Battle, Warfront, and Conquest Missions

Elder Scroll capture and recapture quests

Town quests in Vlastarus, Bruma, Cropsford, Cheydinhal, and Chorrol

Imperial City daily quests

Not every event is for every player. I'm not interested in PvP, but I don't begrudge them having events for that playstyle. There's plenty of tickets to go around. /shrug

Wait, are you saying you are a bad guy? Those bosses don't get to choose whether they kill you or not and their programmed intent is to harm you. You have complete control over whether you kill someone or not. Unless you are a bot.

The problem with MYM event is that they force people to got to IC. Other events give us options, so we can chose what type of content we like more. Even Undaunted celebrations gives us choice what dungeon to do, or we can do some easier dungeons solo. With MYM you HAVE to go to IC to get all event tickets.

I like PvP in eso, but IC is just wayyyy to toxic, even for a PvP-er like me. I like Cyro, but IC is just Blighttown of ESO. I would like to be able to do just Cyro quests, like in the past when IC was a full DLC. It did not sell well, so they made it into a free DLC. And now, they are desperate with their measures because even when IC is a free DLC it is still dead empty. So they try to force players to go there... it is just a bad practise imho. I would rather do a BGs instead, bu BGs are paired with Cyro's event tickets. Feels bad man.

You can do scouting quests in Cyrodiil without fighting anybody. The main trick is to pick them up when the character's alliance controls little of the map, then carry them out when map coverage is a lot better.

I also have no interest in pvp events but they do alternate between the two. There’s people who only login for pvp so they feel the same way when the other shoe drops. I only returned 2-3 months ago and skipped whatever event was going on at the time so I don’t feel I’m missing out on much.

It would be nice if they could make each event cater to both sides but they may be concerned about the player skew so we get them one at a time. To those who have been looking forward to this; have a fun and lag free experience, game on!

It takes all of 5-10 minutes to do the Arena daily, at most. Even when other players are there. It's hardly as much of an issue as you are making it out to be. And really, even I think it is a ridiculous task. MYM should be PVP only ways to acquire tickets. Like complete the kill player quests or BG quests only. None of the PVE ones. It is a PVP event, you should be forced to do actual PVP to gain the tickets for it.

Or just do the arena daily, from the safety of the home tower.

This is always my recommendation to non PVPers

This is very welcome event. Hopefully it reaches new players to try pvp and continue to populate the servers. Apart from some typical bashing of "pvers" let´s be positive and try not to discourage those who do not like pvp or never tried it. Actually, pvpers are quite nice bunch of people sometimes .

So try to enjoy and remember it is all about fun.

Like some of the others I have everything saved up for the mount to release, so I'll be passing on this event.
However, I'm glad they have a special event for PvPers. Everything else is geared towards PvE, so I think it's good that they get something to look forward to.

He he, have enough unclaimed completed cyrodil and IC quests on alts ready to hand in to hit all the ticket dailies and never once see pvp action this Midyear Mayhem season.

No easy AP from me.
