IC new player tip, Sigil of Imperial Retreat SCAM

hello,

the Sigil of Imperial Retreat is a one time use item that Teleports you to your alliance's base in the Imperial City Sewers.

it costs a whopping 10k tel var stones per purchase.

its a scam

if you find yourself anywhere in IC, and dont want to be there anymore, do this instead!

Queue for Cyrodill

preferably a dead or low pop campaign, if you do this, and accept the teleport prompt you will be zapped out of wherever you are in the IC and plopped in Cyro, you can then simply re queue for IC and will be plopped in back at your alliance base.

fun tips

the queue works even while in combat, and has a minute long accept timer, so if your being chased by angry yobs trying to Xv1 you for your telvar, and have been trapped in a zone due to "in combat" preventing you from using doors, fret not, queue for Cyro, and disappear right in their face.

this can be funny as you can leave the accept prompt on for some time (a minute as stated) and use it to peek around as its counting down, all clear? ignore the prompt, a zerg coming at you? accept and disappear.

i would purposefully accept a Cyro port and jump into a zerg and lead them on a chase before the Cyro Bifrost zapped me out of their midst, always fun.

so yeah, hope that helps avoid a little of the massive IC frustration and save you a massive amount of tel var, tc.

I don't think there is any player that plays PvP and didn't know that on the forums.

Even better..you can then...queue right back into the Imperial Sewers from Cyrodiil!
Ebonheart Pact, Nord Templar/healer on NA Xbox server. My main toon WAS a tall and foxy redhead - now she has been gamma-irradiated and has green skin and black hair. 3 other characters I only use for writs. Can't be bothered to create multiple toons - EXCEPT now my WW is getting spooled up for Cyrodiil - Blood For The Pact! IRL cranky sometimes redhead chick at large in Las Vegas, NV

Seems fair to me.. 10k stones is not a huge amount.. A sigil that don't break would be awesome though

Telvar in the sewers, AP in Cyrodill.. both have their own version of the item

    Patch notes:

*Fixed an issue where you could use campaigns to teleport out of combat in Imperial City or Cyrodiil

If you are in the sewers enough, you'll probably build up a good stash of these without buying them. I have only ever bought one (with ap) and once I realized it was character bound, decided it was a poor investment. I usually just go back to base via sewers anyway, but if you don't have to pay for them the sigils are slightly more convenient.

    No.
Sigil of imperial retreat costs 10k ap.
Keep recall stones cost 20k ap.
During MYM when the campaigns are full sigils are actually very useful, as you don't have to sit thru long queues to get out of ic.
