Most iconic class skills

In your opinion, what are the most iconic skills per class? And why?

I don't have much experience with other classes, but for Templars, my two top picks would be Jabs (which make us the one-skill class and can carry an entire build) and our beam (referencing some real world personality, the J-beam).

For Nightblades def invisibility, and for Sorcerers their streak.

    Iconic skills for each class
Templar: jab and hand wave (honor the dead)

    sorc: Deadra and teleport
Warden: ice armor and underground skalks
    Necro: leaping skeletons and tombstones

From what people tell me, and from how I'd played the class, DK's iconic skills are Fossilize, Leap, and Flame Lash. If you see a DK odds are they're going to have one or all three of the skills slotted.

    DK: Leap
    Nightblade: Cloak
    Templar: Jabs/nope button
    Sorc: Hardened Ward/Streak
    Necro: Big Daddy
Warden: Shalk, though I'd swear it was uppercut.

DK: "Batman" aka the leap ulti
    Templar: jabs
    Sorc: crit surge
    Nightblade: cloak
    Warden: Yogi (bear)
    Necro: blastbones

In all honesty though, all their class skills are iconic to each class.

Why do people call it Jesus beam? There are 1000s of different words that could've suited that skill, why Jesus beam? I've never been to understand how this became a thing.

    (No hate just genuinely wondering)

Cause big beam of holy energy = Jesus going pew pew..

Also no other word is quite as memeable or unique as "Jesus beam." 100% you'd remember that over literally any other name.

It's popularity is proof enough. It's just what caught on. No popular game really has a Jesus Beam that stands out as much.

DK chains are pretty iconic too. I also like their standard, especially when I see AD banners - which happens like never, because all DKs are EP, and maybe a few DC.

And it's more on point with the theme of Templars.

    For DKs, Dragon Blood.

When I first started playing and I saw DKs use that, I thought they were vampires.

If the number of flappies and bears I see while trying to do stuff in cities is anything to go by, I'd say those are the two most iconic Sorcerer and Warden skills...

For Dragonknights... hmm... I want to say the Fire/Poison Breath. It's very draconic, and iconic for the class. Just a good ol' belch of red/green.

For Nightblades, Shadow Cloak, the only at-will Invisibility that I can think off. Make Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood stuff a cakewalk!

Templar is definitely the stabby-stabby. I willingly admit I too embrace the stabby-stabby spam, though I'm trying to break myself.

Necromancer is the Colossus, by far. Any dungeon I'm in with a Necromancer will no doubt have the good ol' Colossus come out and play with some smashy-smashy.
Echoes from the west, great hammers will fall...
Under high rocks all will answer the call...
Bring us your arms, pariahs of yore...

Not many people use it, actually haven't see any other using it so far, cause it is not the most efficient skill. But I like using Power Extraction with my NB.
Just standing in a group of mobs and suck the life force out from them seem so much more fun than Whirlwind.
