Any foe with an invincible phase (shielded health bar). I completed it with the Minotaur bosses in Blackwood. Havocrel in the Deadlands portals should also work.

I am pretty sure it has do with mob health bars, as it indicates what enemies are harder to deal with:

Not sure exactly, but I killed a healer NPC at a keep resource in Cyrodill and it counted for the endeavour. I think it was casting a shield on itself so maybe that really is the case.

Got mine from the 'boss' that pops on the second wave of a mini dolmen.

Someone in guild got this from parsing on the Iron Atro target dummy. I go it from a Xivkyn with the "boss" bar at a dolmen. It's pretty much anything that isn't a regular, flat health bar NPC.

Though I would hope the target dummy is a bug...

On pc we have to hover over them to see it. Man definitely deserves lots of Insightfuls cause surely not everyone knew

I got mine by accident from a quest boss on my alt account (didn't realize reset had already happened.) Got it on my main account off a harvester at a dolmen. Overland minotaurs in The Gold Coast did not count. So, anything above Champion Grade, probably.

Public dungeon bosses actually didn't count for me, but the boss at the end of the quest in Bad Man's Hallows did. Weird.

I got mine from an ice atronach near Willowgrove. I was actually going there to see if atronachs counted for the bestial daedra (they dont), and it ticked it for me for dangerous foe.

I don't know who wrote these descriptions bc those atronachs around willowgrove are hardly dangerous in their current, post-quest states.

Didn't even look at endeavors list. went to do a dragon and got two done. Guess dragons count.

Did a world boss, used my ultimate twice during the fight, 2 endeavors down.

Public Dungeon Boss did it for me, which the Fighters Guild Daily took me to, which was in a Daedric Public Dungeon for the "10 Beastial Dadra" endeavor.

Finished 3 dailies in about 1 minute.

Elites should use more abilities

and there should be more of both the Elites and "Group Bosses" in overland content

I've often thought of this. I think some quest locations could have a Tier 1 elite boss, Delves could have Tier 1 elite enemies, with a Tier 2 boss.

Yes.

The guards health bar would be a shielded bar.

Some boss have shielded phases where they're invisible for a bit. While shielded, their health bars resemble guard bars.

Okay, thanks. I guess there must be a boss in The Lions Den that has an invincible phase, because I was in The Lions Den fighting bosses when suddenly I got credit for that endeavor.

I killed a couple of mudcrabs in order to use two Incapacitating Strike and I think they are shielded cause I get the endeav...... Wait, that was another one. My bad.

I'm pretty sure it only counts if you land a killing blow. same for beastly Daedra. I only got 6/10 from fighter's guild daily and when I went to kill more around the dolmen I got the quest done at - after killing group of 3 only one counted.. which I think was due to Mirri landing a killing blow. as I was the only person attacking them, its the only explanation that would make any sense besides... bug (and given that its also how it works for pvp achievements where assists do not count towards kills? I don't think its a bug)

I got the credit for landing the deathblow on a monster of "tier 2 boss" type - specifically a Bad Mans Hallows public dungeon boss: Bloatgut the hoarvor.

I had previously killed both of the "tier 1 bosses" in Bad Mans Hallows - specifically Rutmange the rat, and Bloodcraw the hoarvor, both of these were solo kills - and did not get the credit for this achievement.

I had also taken part in a kill of the Giant Snake Mother, a "tier 2 boss", but did not land the killing blow, and did not get the endeavour completed at this point.

So, my guess is you've got to land the killing blow on a monster of tier 2 or 3. For a DD-type, this should be no problem as long as you survive long enough to land it: how you do it as a tank is left as an exercise for the reader, but "fight enough mobs of that type to give yourself a chance of landing the deathblow, and solo one if you can, because if you let somebody else join in then they're more likely to land the final hit than you are" seems to be the most likely answer.

...And hm, someone above reports having got it from a Frost Atronach (which is a Tier 1 monster). I guess my companion Bastian must have kill-stolen me on Rutmange and Bloodcraw :-)

I was killing dangerous foes all day in Cyrodiil, then when I went into a delve to get the Blessing of War buff I killed a poverty NPC and got credit for the endeavor.

I was running a delve when I got that completed by killing the boss down there.
