Music Interruption / Duplicate Tracks

Some areas (The Rift confirmed) had what feels almost like duplicate music tracks being played. The game will play the normal zones music, but periodically play a second music track over the top.
The second track is always the same, an ominous dark "dun dun dunnn" style track almost like it's mean to be a discovery/warning sting. Whatever causes it though make it happen multiple times in a row, sometimes even interrupting itself to start again.

Not sure if this is an intended feature or an actual audio bug but it makes the music audio within zones where it happens very poor to listen to.

Tested with all add-ons disabled and still having the issue. Others have reported it happens in other zones for them but no one seems to know what the trigger for it is.

Last time I've payed attention to this was in Murkmire zone, not sure how it's replicated though.

Yes!

I do my daily crafting writs in Riften and it started the first day we got the Blackwood update.

The normal music for the zone plays, and then that spooky stinger music track. Like you say, I cannot see what might be causing it.

I have only heard it in Riften.

I am on PS4 NA so no add-ons.

The only other music change in zone I have noted is that Arkthzand Caverns and Bthar-Zel have a slow violin track playing now. At first I thought the music had changed but now I’m thinking maybe there was no music there before (like Coridale delve in Summerset had no music for a long time).

I can also confirm that for the Rift, and only there. And I thought it's only happening to me...
