Survey harvesting bugged?

Can someone confirm whether survey collecting is bugged. I notice when hovering over a node. It's shaded text as if you are harvesting. But you are just locked there and have to move around sometimes more than once to actually collect the node.

perfiction✭✭✭✭✭I was collecting all my hoarded surveys this monday (thanks for free ESO+ trial ZOS
) and it happened to me a lot. Tooltip gets dark (indicating that I'm picking it up) but character just stands there - had to run around and spam E few more times to actually loot the node. Edited by perfiction on June 19, 2021 10:06AM2 -

✭✭It happened to me once so far and I thought for sure I was getting disconnected and it hadn't booted me yet, but eventually I was able to harvest. It was so weird.0 -
oterWitz✭✭✭✭This has been happening to me consistently when doing surveys as well. It's especially bad if I don't move but attempt to harvest the nodes while standing still, which most of the older survey maps are situated for. My guess is that ZoS added something to prevent afk node farming (lookin' at you Shadowfen sitters
). I could be wrong, though, and it's just an unintentional bug. PC NA0
