Lag - Xbox series X enhanced

Since upgrading to enhanced I've been experiencing lag that I did not experience before. I do not normally have lag as I have a good, wired Internet connection.

First occurrence is when parsing. I have minor input lag of maybe 1 or 2 seconds on occasion. Also, I've had my character randomly put away their weapon mid parse during a bar swap. No, I didn't hold the button.

Secondly the lag has been occurring in trials. Brief moments of the game seeming to pause then quickly catching up with itself. Several team mates on Series X have the same experience.

Note: using performance mode. Not tried fidelity.

Im on ps5 and ive experienced this too. Im really surprised that more people arent talking about this. Its VERY annoying and actually feels worse than last gen!

PS5 NA. Same issue. Framerate drops below 30fps during dolmens, Rockgrove, and other graphics-intensive activities. I suspect defending or flipping a keep in cyrodiil would see the same, but haven't tested it yet. Using Performance setting.

I refuse to play in fidelity on Xbox series x. 25fps at best in the wild let alone a city

As far as I am aware, most complaints about input lag have been related to Fidelity mode, in which it's constant. I have started to experience occasional lag in Performance mode, too, though maybe not as bad as you describe. I also have a good internet connection and wired console.
