How does the game look, and play on an Xbox series S?

this is lowest common denominator console, so I'm curious, plus the fact I been to buy it on two occasions, but keep holding off for an series X, yet I have no 4k TV, so I might just bite the bullet and buy one next time I see it in stock, if the improvement is noticeable.

I think fidelity mode looks really good on my 4K tv and as far as performance mode it looks mostly the same besides my toon and mounts have a noticeable lower resolution but the higher FPS is nice. Haven’t been able to compare to a series X in person yet but overall I’m very pleased. I’ve yet to have a load screen longer than 5 seconds and most of time when traveling within the same zone I don’t even have a load screen.

Edit: I guess I should have added this also. The graphic upgrade isn’t a game changer imo. While noticeable it’s it’s not like any other game going from one gen to another but I think the performance is definitely worth it.

added my name to several stores for xbox series updates, not expecting much, a week later, here I am playing ESO performance mode on an Xbox series X, No 4k TV but the improvements over the standard xbox are very apparent, pretty happy with my purchase!
