Do companions bash?

Has anyone seen a companion bash to interrupt an enemy? Or can they, even?

They will interrupt a few abilities when enemies flashing red, but not all and there is a cooldown between uses.

They will block power attacks. Not sure about interrupts.

Bastian bashes me all the time and calls me names.

Best place to test this would be the second boss in ICP.

They interrupt, and the skill Bashing Bulwark also interrupts

Thanks all! I'd noticed a few times Bastian completely ignored some bashing opportunities, but I guess he was on cool down. 😅

I haven't seen them bash, but I have seen them run away.

I have Bastion set up as a S&B tank and do lots of WBs with him. He routinely bash-interrupts a boss winding up with red lines for a magic attack. And he routinely blocks heavy attacks. And his taunt up time is at or near 100%. Vs WBs, I do need to help him a little with heals.

I went to the DB sanctuary to get a quest, forgetting that Mirri's not a fan of all that, and she not only bashed me, but my entire family.
